Gap Between images

  • I am just starting to upload additional images on tours we have, however when i add them, a huge gap appears between the main image and the images below

  • Hello carlsimp,

    As you have used Flex slider and it will take the Height as per the Photos used.

    Ideally, you should have used the same photos or should have generated the thumbnail of the same size.

    Now the reason why there is some white space on some photos is that the height of Photo number #3, #4 has more height so for other photos it is showing some white space.

    Did you observe that?

    AHh ok understood, is there a way of auto resizing images in word press so they are all same size

    First I would suggest you to check if there is any previously generated thumbnail you can use instead of creating new.

    After that, you can call that image which might be of all same size.

    If that doesn’t work check for a plugin like Regenerating Thumbnails.

    You can consider using Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to generate thumbnails of preferred size.

    In addition to @kartiks16 comment, I had a look at your website and noticed that your site is using Flexslider plugin to render the slider. You can try changing ‘smoothHeight’ parameter to true. That will animate the height of the slider smoothly for slides of varying height.

    Hi i cannot find the option for the flex slider to change to true, now i have another issue, this word press drives me nuts
