Hello, when I started using Gamipress, it was working fine. But recently, it is misbehaving.
When someone views a page it awards the point type of viewing a post. It thinks pages and posts are the same.
    What should I do.
P.S. I’m using the classic editor.

Also, clicking link point type does not work. When a user clicks on a particular link, it doesn’t award points.

Pls help me out here ??
    People are really complaining

    Hi @allgoodnamesaretaken

Nice to talk to you today!

So sorry, but we do not support filtering options by post types. We hope to include that feature in futures updates. Thanks so much for your suggestion!

About the link issue, are you using our Link Add-on? It is available for downloading here: https://gamipress.com/add-ons/link/, and on that page, you have some examples to make it works.

If you have any doubt or your link awarding is still not working, please provide us a screenshot with the config.

    Have a great day!

Thanks for your reply, but I don’t fully get you concerning the filtering post type. Normally I used the generic “user views any post” point type, but it awards points for even visiting any page which I don’t want!
I just want it to award point anytime a user views any post period.

    Thanks in advance!

i am having similar issues too. it is wrongly awarding points

    Hi @allgoodnamesaretaken and @onyekat

We just added on latest update the ability to setup the Daily visit a post of a specific type

In this way you can award for visits only on the post types of your choice (posts, pages, products, etc)

    Hope it helps!
