I see that at your Total Points equation you have first + second + third + fourth. What type are those variables? When you are creating a Result equation, you can use only Performance variables. In your screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/I8saGy9UDK I can understand that all of those are Result variables, so cannot be used inside a Result equation.

Hi, so how do you setup a TOTAL points for a game with out the users input? I am not sure if you saw my second post, but I changed the equation in 1st, 2nd, 3nd and 4th to be empty as originally suggested.

Sorry for the delay on this one.

In short, you are using empty variables inside of your total. What Savvas meant is that you can only use performance in your equations:

In order to make this automatic you’d need to:
1) Add these as player performance. For instance, if this was soccer you could simply load all player goals in your total
2) If you want to keep the quarters’ scores, then these would be manual fields, unless you have separated performance fields for each (for example goals scored in the 1st quarter would need to have a separated field. So instead of goals you’d have 1Q goals, 2Q goals and so on).

This is quite an old one. We don’t have any demos for this unfortunately.

The short answer is that the way you have it right now it isn’t possible to auto-populate these fields.

You’d need a different setup.

then what is the setup? I would pay someone to detail this out. If a season is going on, will that mess up the current league table?
