    Hi. Just wondering if you can do any custom work? NextGen gallery update to 2.0.0 is in a mess and given there is no support regarding their public uploader, I am looking for alternatives (which are hard to find).

    Basically looking to have just a plain old gallery which will allow registered users to upload photos to any one gallery. And of course, to have the social gallery element with comments and social media buttons.

    I know this isn’t a support question as such but I am willing to pay if anything can be done.

    Front end uploading is a bit of a messy area to delve into, what’s up with the NextGen uploader?

    Hi Mike. The NG Uploader seems buggy. If you refresh the page after upload, the file will be added twice. It only permits one file upload at a time. The image title doesn’t work/display and the image uploaded retains the complete file name for its name(which is what assigning an image title is supposed to deal with). Support is not there. All in all, it is pretty awful and with the mess of NextGen Gallery in general, I was trying to find an all-in-one package.
