Gallery2 – viewing photos at > 640×800 looks ugly! Suggestion sought.

Hi there,

I’ve just moved from Movable Type to WordPress. I’ve intalled WP and WP Gallery2 using both of their default templates. I just set up a test album and when I view a photo at 640×480 the page looks hella ugly. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to make it look better? I’d like to keep the main content window the same size. Is there some plugin or something that I can use to e.g. open photos in a new window – display the photo only, but not incorporated into the WordPress theme?
