• Hello,

    I recently updated to the latest version of Photoshop Masonry Gallery 1.0.6 & WP 4.3.1. There must be an incompatibility as this is a new issue I’ve never seen before.

    On mobile devices only, when you tap on a gallery photo and either pinch or tap to “zoom” to full size, images become skewed and stretch horizontally.

    Issue tested and occurs on iPhone 5s, 6, iPad Mini, and Android tablet. No issue on desktop, but it may be because of the larger screen size.

    My site:

    Shot that looks good before you zoom:

    Shot of issue after zoom:

    Any idea how to correct this?

  • Hi Dean,

    I just installed and am having the same problem as Ben – my gallery images get squeezed horizontally when I zoom in on my phone. This doesn’t happen in the demo, where the zoom (pinch or tap) is very smooth and clean.

    Thank you.

    Ben – I figured it out! Hope this works for you.

    Comparing the styles of the plugin demo and my site, I found a width difference for the images.

    I updated to this in my theme’s style.css:

    .entry-content img {
    max-width:none;
    }

    It had been max-width: 100%.

    The images now zoom correctly on my site. Good luck!

    Great, thank you Stewart! I updated my CSS and that fixed the issue perfectly! Tested on iPhone 5s & iPad mini. I thought this thread was forgotten, you’re awesome!

    Cool, glad to help!

    I’ll try to add some clearing css for this in the next version ??
