Gallery with one main Gallery-Picture

  • Hi guys,

    i’m using the standard wordpress gallery in combination wigh Simple Lightbox. This is my problem: at the moment every gallery i create shows all pictures i include. So, if i add 5 pictures to the gallery, all 5 pictures are shown on the final article.
    Now i want to have only 1 picture in the article -> click on the picture -> a slideshow starts with all 5 pictures.

    Is there any solution for my problem? I guess it’s quite simple, but i don’t get it.

  • you could create the gallery, and note the permalink (url) to it.

    Then create a post/page with your article etc. and then just create the image with a link to the gallery.

    Hide the gallery from your menu, and jobs done.
