    Hi
Just a minor issue, that if a Gallery is inserted as an Elementor widget, FooGallery doesn’t recognise that the gallery is in use.

  • Hi Carl,

Are you able to give more detail? Do you mean when the FooGallery shortcode is entered into a FooGallery HTML module? Or the shortcode is entered into an Elementor Widget module?

If you can provide a bit more detail we can grab a copy of Elementor to do some testing.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ok here goes Phill.

When designing a page via Elementor, if you drag a FooGallery module onto the page and select the gallery to use it works great, no problems there.

When you save it and exit Elementor, if you go to the FooGallery page over on the left sidebar that has the list of all the galleries you have created, it doesn’t recognise that the gallery has been inserted via Elementor and therefore says the gallery isn’t in use.

    I hope that makes sense.

Just a minor thing for me, but maybe a major thing for someone else.

    Hi!

I’d like to reactivate this post.
In fact, there might be an issue with sitemaps generated by YoastSEO plugin.

I also use FooGallery in combination with Elementor. FooGallery tells me that the one gallery I’ve built is not in use although the Elementor-built page which uses its shortcode works properly.

The YoastSEO check for that page tells me that there are no images on it. Thus, YoastSEO generates a sitemap entry with 0 images for that page.

Finally, one of the last Elementor updates solved this problem.
