You can insert a gallery by clicking on the “Album” button in the lightbox popup while you see the list of all albums. After clicking on “Album”, the button should be labelled “Shortcode”. Now you can click on the album you want to insert.

If this does not work for you, please add some more details of the browser you’re using.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, the album to shortcode toggle is working.

Is it possible to select, for example 10, images in an album, then click the ‘image’ button to create a mini-gallery of those images? Or would the best way be to create a new album in google with just the photos I want, then use the album shortcode you describe?

I see there is an option in the settings to “Click images in your preferred order” how do I take advantage of that?
    Thanks!

    Hey akiersky,

    here are the answers:
    1) It is not possible to create a “mini-gallery” on the fly. You’ll have to create a google photo album manually and then select the newly created album using the album shortcode.

    2) Actually, since I’ve only overtaking maintaining this plugin, I have not implemented this function myself. I also never used it personally, as I find sorting the pictures in google photos much more intuitive. So sorry, I do not know at them moment if this function is working in the current version and how to take advantage of it. As I said, I would recommend creating a google photo album and sort the pictures in your desired order on google photos.
