Hi Even Dawn, this is unrelated to the Easy FancyBox plugin. It’s your theme that is missing specific style rules that allow WordPress gallery items to show ‘inline’ instead of as content blocks. Look inside the default theme stylesheet to find a good example of working CSS rules dedicated to WP gallery source code.

Yes, when inserting a gallery, make sure you choose the “Link to: Media file” option (instead of “Attachment page”) or manually add the link="file" parameter to the [gallery ...] shortcode your the posts.
