• Hey there,

So Gridsby is pretty much exactly what I had in mind, as far as a theme goes, and I plan on using it for my photography. One thing that’s kind’ve a dealbreaker however is that the images displayed on the front page aren’t thumbnails; they’re the fully sized photographs uploaded to the media library.

Is there thumbnail support in the pro version? My headshots, for instance, are at least 500kb and paring them down any further would involve a loss in too much resolution.

With an image intensive theme such as this, I can’t imagine it being practical as a professional photographer to have a front page with 4 megs of data that needs loaded upon site visit.

    Hello,

The theme does create thumbnails by default, so if you upload a large image it will automatically reduce the size to help with load times.

Only the single image post page contains the full size image.
