I can upload images into a gallery just fine, in fact everything works fine except I cannot access Gallery Settings. I have check my .htacess file and do not have any entries I can see that would cause this. I do have Wordfence but I disabled it and the issue still exist. I actually disabled all plugins except NextGen and I still have the issue. I get this when I select Gallery Settings:
    Basic Slideshow
    RuntimeException thrown
/home/*****/public_html/trucksontriangles.com/dev/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/slideshow/nextgen_basic_slideshow_settings_gallery_dimensions.php is not a valid MVC template

Is there something else I need to look for? I am using Thrive Themes and I am suspecting it might be an issue. I have Next Gen on all my other sites with no problems at all. I am also running PHP 7.4 but like I said, all the other sites are fine. I will need to go into Gallery Setting to set images per page. If I cannot get this fixed, I will have to find some other plugin. I hate to as I feel NextGen is the best.

    HI @rdpshop,

Looks like a weird issue that needs to be debugged. First of all, could you please let us know if you are using a Windows server and if you’ve already tried deleting then re-installing NextGen Gallery plugin?

It turned out to be something really weird. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. For some reason, it was not creating the nextgen_basic_slideshow_settings_gallery_dimensions.php file. So I copied this php file from another one of my websites I have NextGen installed on and it fixed it. I have no idea why it wouldn’t install or create this php file. But I fixed it late last night after inspecting the files one by one until I saw it was missing.

Thanks for responding, I hope this is the last time this issue surfaces.

It may be permissions related. This file is definitely a part of a fresh installation .zip archive of NextGen Gallery plugin so perhaps it wasn’t updating properly once with the updates.

Happy to hear that everything works fine now.

It works but it isn’t working as smoothly as it does on my other sites. I am trying to display some images and the top and bottoms are cut off in the thumbnail view plus they are at random staggering. You can see here what I mean, it should evenly display these. The site I am building this from, they are centered.

Is there CSS code I can use to tweak this or am I missing something in settings somewhere? Seems like I have run into this in the past but I can’t remember what I did to get it all to even out.

You can view the page here to see what I mean. https://trucksontriangles.com/dev/signs-uused-in-the-united-states/

    Hi @rdpshop,

I am noticing the thumbnails appear to be uncropped now so my guess is that you’ve already found the needed config that allows displaying thumbs entirely: “NextGen Gallery -> Gallery Settings -> Basic Thumbnails” by setting “Override thumbnail settings” to Yes then also set “Thumbnails Crop” to “No”.
