Gallery Settings

    What setting do I need to display the descriptions on the Gallery page? They are not showing at all. Also, when I click a Gallery they all display as thumbnails and I would like them to start as a slideshow. What do I need to do? The website address is
    https://www.stsophia.net/gallery. Thanks.

    @goyapres – If you want to have the inserted display start as the Basic Slideshow then you will need to choose the Basic Slideshow as the display type for the inserted display.

    As to showing descriptions, the Basic Slideshow does not offer this specifically although some of the bundled Lightbox Effects do show the image descriptions, unfortunately the Basic Slideshow is not ideal for use with the basic Lightbox Effects that are bundled with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience.
