Gallery Plus! lightbox in conflict with OceanWP lightbox

    Hello there,
    I am using Gallery Plus to create galleries of my Homepage (https://bunterhaufen.ch/hinwil-2018/). But there seems to be a conflicht with the Lightbox of the Gallery Plus plugin and the theme lightbox. When clicking on a picture it seems that two pictures oper on top of each other. When I use the arrow keys to scroll through the pictures, the scrolling happens in the background and the picture stays unchanged. I tried to deactivate the OceanWP lightbox, then the gallery works, but this lightbox is needed for the mobile menue (and I think also some other features) so I can’t leave the OceanWP lightbox deactivated. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

    Hi there
    thank you for using Elements Plus!

    Elements plus uses Elementor’s Lightbox, so you will need to disable that. Have a look here on how to achieve it https://docs.elementor.com/article/217-lightbox

    Hello Fotis,
    Thank you for your reply and please apologize my late reaction. I turnded the lightbox off globally as shown in the video. But now there is no option to scroll through the pictures after opening one. Is it possible to make that happen?

    Hi there @bunterhaufen.
    Then you will need to disable your theme’s Lightbox in favor of Elementor’s. Elementor will have the correct behaviour for the gallery.

    Hi @markwaregr,
    Thank you for your reply. I will contact the support of the theme to hopefully find a solution on how the mobile menu will work without the theme’s lightbox. But if this is not possible I will have to chose the themes Lightbox over elements plus, although I really like its gallery.

    Hi there,
    Glad I could help!
    Just to avoid any misdirection, Gallery Plus uses Elementors Lightbox and does not have any on its own. So if you disable you Elementor lightbox, your theme support can provide a small code solution to enable it in Gallery Plus. Let me know if you manage to achieve this.
