gallery plus! doesn’t show the caption in lightbox

  • Hi,

    Thank you for the wonderfull Gallery Plus plugin.

    The only problem is that gallery plus doesn’t show the caption in the lightbox. I tried different methods, and it didn’t work.

    By the way, I use Elementor as a page builder. and captions is working perfectly when I use Elementor basic gallery, but not with Gallery Plus. captions can be shown in gallery grids, but not in the lightbox.

    I was wondering if there is a way to fix this issue.

    Thank you for your response.

    I added the codes to the PHP file and also the WP additional CSS. it added the caption to the Gallery(not hovering) and not to the lightbox. So, no. it’s not fixed yet.

    I use the Astra template if it affects.

    I just noticed that my ep-justified-gallery.php dosent include this code to add that code after it :

    ” alt=”<?php echo esc_attr( get_post_meta( $id, ‘_wp_attachment_image_alt’, true) ); ?>”>

    I have this one:

    ” alt=”<?php echo esc_attr( wp_get_attachment_caption( $id ) ); ?>”>

    Should I change it?

    Hi there,
    Gallery plus does not have a lightbox, this comes directly from the theme or Elementor. I suggest checking in their support forums for more help on this.
