gallery plugins

Is there a way to get the items that the plugin picks up on- to appear as a list? as opposed to now its just highlighting them where they are. like if its in a drop down menu, you wont know that its highlighted unless u look into the drop down menu.

thanks for reaching out! Do you have any particular gallery plugin in mind? I have tested our plugin with the first one that showed up in my “add new plugin” search results (“Gallery” by BestWebSoft) and it works. And to answer your second question: a drop down menu is a bit too ambitious for our plugin as we only improve WordPress default search functionality. Sorry for the inconvenience and please let me know if you have any more questions — I’ll gladly help!

Does it work with the NextGen Gallery plugin? And the regular WordPress Media Library?

I’m looking for a search plugin that will let visitors search through all the media (images, audio, video, documents, etc.) on my site. It would be nice if it output the search in a nice little list and/or show the media item with its metadata.

thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately our plugin doesn’t work with the NextGen Gallery plugin but I had no problem searching for images, documents and audio files when they were inserted via Media Library. But just a heads up, you won’t be able to search into the document itself.
