Gallery plugin without front-end

Hi there,
We are looking for a simple gallery “management” plugin. Without any front-end implementations, light-boxes, etc. Just a back-end tool to manage galleries that we can then pull in on the front-end. Does something like this exist? Ideally with the option to select a gallery from a post.
