So… the galleries were working fine and then I resized some of the images in that gallery. After that, the photo enlargements no longer popped up in a new window and I cannot get the galleries to work again, as they were.

I see the following error message under Other Options > Image Options > Where would you like galleries stored?

Gallery path does not exist and could not be created

    The path shows as…

    wp-content/uploads/sites/1/nggallery/

Because of this I’ve also lost the ability to sort images, which is what alerted me to the problem in the first place.

This seems to be a bug that happened directly after I resized some photos within the gallery. Prior to that I had resized single images without any problem.

Everything else in the site is up-to-date.

    Can you help please?

Okay, on the server I’ve created the folders in the specified path, but cannot save any lightbox option – it always reverts to ‘none’, i.e. no lightbox.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this please?

@tig1960 Do you get any error messages in the browser console (F12 or right click > “Inspect” and then go to the “console” tab) when clicking the “Save” button?

    Thanks for your reply.

In the end I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it and all is okay. Deleting the plugin didn’t delete the galleries either, so all good.
