    Hi All,

When I am editing a gallery, for example changing the gallery title, the gallery path changes automaticly and the photo’s can’t be found anymore. When I’m changing the path to the Original path, it will change to the wrong path again…

Does someone know how to fix this?

@wouterbos95 – Is this happening with any gallery you try to edit, or just specific galleries? Also, can you provide examples of the gallery names this is happening with?

    Thanks!

    Cais,

Thx for your message. It is happening with all of the gallery’s. You kan look on the webpage to see the names of the gallerys: https://www.m-track.org/foto-gallery/

The pathname has after the change much //// between two folders..

@wouterbos95 – Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

    Thx Cais for your respons!
After deactivating the plugins, clearing browsercache and reactivate the nextgen-plugin, the problem stil persists. I have also tried to use an another theme (wordpress twenty sixteen), but the problem still persists…

Maybe you can mail me, so the more private date will not be online? [email protected]

    Thanks!

Has this problem been resolved? I am getting the same “multiple \\” in the Gallery paths – the \’s increase in number every time I save changes to a gallery.

My apologies – but my problem was exactly as this other user described:

“The pathname has after the change much //// between two folders..”

so I assumed I was simply adding to this thread. As I am running the latest WP and the latest version of your software – I will simply assume (as the issue still exists in this version as well) that it has not been resolved.

I just couldn’t see cluttering up a forum with multiple posts on the same issue…

@apendrag0n3 – Yes, the issues are very similar although it is still not exactly the same and best to have it addressed as a separate topic per the forum guidelines.
