Gallery over 1000+ images

Just have one question regarding this plugin. Can I use it to create a gallery with over 1000 images?

I’ve used the PhotoSwipe Masonry 2.0 but, after uploading the pictures (a mixture of landscape and portrait way images) in the gallery there are some empty spaces between the pictures.

Is it any chance to make everything even without bigger spaces?
