Gallery options in Virtue

  • Hi all,

    in the last days I’ve played around a little bit with the Virtue free theme.In my opinion it is one of the best free themes.
    In the plug in – options there are tons of plugins.

    I am searching for a plugin which contains the following options:
    – create a gallery with thumbnails (thumbnails with description)
    – clicking on a thumbnail opens an image, let’s say 1000x750px
    with the possibility to fill text below this image.
    – additional option to show this image in the full version ( 2000x1500px )

    I’ve testet several plugins, but none of the plugins offered this combination.

    Is this possible with a special plugin?
    Would it be possible in the Premium Version?

    Has anybody an idea?

    What do you mean by “description”. The premium theme can show captions on hover, see here scroll down: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/wordpress-gallery/

    And that same caption shows below the image when you open.
    That is what the premium can do, free is similar just doesn’t have the hover caption option.

    I’m sure there are some out there, I don’t know of the one that does this exactly. it’s just a matter of searching.

    I mean, whether it’s possible to write a title below the thumbnails?

    1. Is it possible to fill an image title below the thumbnails in the
    Masonry Gallery “https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/wordpress-gallery/”?

    2. Clicking on a thumbnail in this Masonry Gallery opens a beautiful slideshow.
    Would it be possible to display these images first in a smaller version (let’s say 1000x750px) with some information below

    – and then: enlargement-function of this image(1000x750px) (toggle size or something like that)to display this image in the fullversion.
    (e.g. 2000x1500px)

    Does the Virtue Free Theme or Virtue Premium Theme offers this function?

    1. Yes.
    2. it auto displays in whatever size it can depending on the screen, It’s built responsive so it doesn’t have a enlargement where you would load a third image at the large size.
    neither offer the enlarge in the Lightbox, it auto fills.
