Using Envira gallery on the WordPress site. Ran Simply Static.

Everything was copied into the zip file and everything works except my gallery page fails to show the images. All the images are captured in the wp-content/uploads subdirectory, but nothing when I load …/gallery/index.html.

Hmm. I wonder if it’s because it’s using shortcode?

    [envira-gallery id="64"]

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

    Hi goodcall1,

I think I’ve got an idea of what the issue is. For your Destination URLs (first tab on the Settings page) are you using relative URLs? If so, try switching to Absolute URLs.

Envira Gallery uses a custom HTML attribute (data-envira-srcset) and it’s probably expecting full (absolute) URLs instead of relative URLs.

Relative URLs are a nice default for most people, but it doesn’t work for certain cases such as this.

Let me know if that solves your issue or if you run into any other problems.

    Best,
    Scott

Unfortunately, I redesigned my client’s website from scratch and did not include the Gallery. I trust that your suggestion will work in any future endeavours I take. Thank you for your reply Scott, I appreciate all your work on this wonderful plugin.
