Gallery not showing after 3.8 update

  • Hi.
    I’ve updated my wordpress website from 3.6 to 3.8.1 today.
    Everything was working fine before and even after the update, except for the gallery in the post at the admin side (in the WYSIWYG).
    I can’t edit the older galleries, and can’t view the new ones, although a gallery code is shown in the WYSIWYG when “text” tab is selected (not the visual).
    I’ve tried deactivating and re-activating the plugins with no luck.
    Please help.

    Found the problem, but don’t know how to fix it.
    I have to clear the cache … the new files aren’t all read!
    How can I clear the wordpress cache without a plugin?!

    Atucally I had the same problem and by reading your post I tried to clear the cache, not of wordpress, but from my browser, and that worked just fine. Now I see the galleries in wysiwyg.

    So if you havent already tried that, then it would be worth a shot.
