Gallery missing, disappeared

  • Hi, everything was working fine on my site, and with CVG gallery. I just noticed the videos weren’t showing on the page, and message appears: [No videos found]. When I check for the gallery, there are 0 galleries. This was all there? What could have caused the gallery to just disappears? It seems all the media is still in the media library. These were self-hosted mp4 files arranged using this statement :

    [cvg-gallery galleryid=1 mode=showcase preview-width=300 preview-height=242 width=1024 height=768 limit=8]

    I don’t think the shortcode is wrong, but the gallery is simply not there anymore. Could this be due to some auto-update that occurred? If so, how can/should I recover or revert?

    What was the plugin version you were using when it worked? There were no recent updates on plugin and it won’t auto update. Please provide link to your website. Are you seeing videos/gallery in database ?

    Hello, same problem here.
    Files are still on the disk at wp-content/uploads/video-gallery,
    but in DB the tables wp_cvg-gallery is empty.
    It happens suddenly, without any update.
    How can we force CVG to rescan the gallery folder to populate DB again ?

    in fact, the tables are not empty, but corrupted.
    I use the latest version of cvg.

    I restore the table with a backup, and it works now.
    But I still dont understand why only these 2 tables of the base have been damaged

    I’m not sure why the tables got corrupted. Was there any WordPress update performed on your site? Any new plugins added just before it got corrupted? There was no release recently that would have updated the tables. Please share details.

    Only a few hours after correction, the tables are carrupted again.
    i have not notice any specific update before it happens.
    I have a wordpress update today, installation in progress.
    I will restore the tables and keep you inform.
