gallery link none not working

  • I’m building a theme that doesn’t require linking to the thumbnails in the default gallery. While there is a setting which adds link=none to the shortcode this does not seem to do anything as thumbnails are still linking to the attachment page.

    I’ve also tested this in WP 3.9 using the default 2014 theme with the same result.

    Any suggestions, or is this a bug?
