• I recently upgrades Next-Gen and am running into issues. My problems are 2-fold.

First, some of my galleries say no images were found when in fact their are images contained in the gallery. All photos are accessible in the admin section of the site. How can I get these to appear on the site?

For those galleries that do show the photos…only the thumbnails appear. When clicking on an individual photo it takes you back to the same gallery…never showing the individual photo.

Please help as this is affecting most of my sites.

    Thanks.

    Jeff

@jenny7 – Can you provide specific links to at least one of the sites where this is happening? It would be good to see this issue first-hand.

    Thanks!

    Sure…

Here is a link to the page with all my albums listed: https://southside.powermediallc.org/photos/. You can see that the photos are there, but some do not link properly.

For example, the gallery 2010 Varsity Boys Basketball says that no images were found. The gallery above HS Girls Lacrosse shows you the images, but when clicking to see an individual image it takes you to the same page.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

@jenny7 – Are you using the “Link to page:” option for the album or the galleries?

Also, if you are using the “Default” WordPress Permalinks, try something else like “Post name” or “Month name” and clear your image cache afterward under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous.

    Thanks!

    I’m using galleries.

I use post name for permalinks. Cleared the image cache, but didn’t help.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

No…I’m not using the link to page option. I move the gallery into the album in the manage album section.

Plus I tried the link to page and those galleries which said ‘no images were found’ still had the same issue.

@jenny7 – You noted “this is affecting most of my sites” … what are the differences between those sites that work and this example where you are having issues?

This is a WordPress MS installations. The others are singular WP sites. I could easily upload photos again to make it work. There’s too much on the MS to do that.

I feel like I’ve tried everything. I can’t get the images to show in the gallery. I either get ‘no images were found’ OR

I see the thumbnails of each image in that gallery, but nothing when you click on a thumbnail to view the larger version of the photo. It doesn’t do anything.

    Thanks again for your help

@jenny7 – It may be best to send in a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with your site specifics. We will probably need to have a look under the page so appropriate log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress Multisite installation may be needed. Please include those with your Bug Report.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
