Gallery Image Order

  • Hello,

    For some reason the images in the galleries of on my site appear in a random order, images appear that are not even in the image gallery. I cannot understand how this order was generated. It is not the order in which the images were placed in the gallery, nor any understandable order. I have tried putting in the images IDs in order, using the orderby command etc., something is overriding all of this.

    I see what you mean; the paintings are numbered and out of order. What is the name of the gallery plugin, if one?

    Hi LFABIO,

    I am using a plug in called wp-jquery-lightbox to make the images be in order now, because I need the site to function. I would much rather use a plug in that was simpler and allowed me to show captions, or it would be great if I didn’t need to use a plug in at all, but without it the pages generated for the galleries are all out of order.

    If there is a time when you would be able to look at the site I can turn wp-jquery-lightbox off for a short time.

    The theme I am using is WP Folio
