Gallery freezing while scrolling

    Hello,

    When I scroll up or down on a page of our website with an embedded gallery, it seems to freeze for a few seconds, or I have to scroll very slowly for it to move. This is more noticeable on mobile, but we can also observe it on a computer.

    This issue wasn’t present earlier last week. Has there been an update that may have caused this problem? How can I resolve it, as it’s quite urgent?

    On other pages of our website without an embedded gallery, there is no scrolling issue, and this has only started happening in the past few days. We tried deactivating plugins one by one, but that didn’t solve the issue. We therefore conclude that it is caused by the “Gallery by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery” plugin, as this issue only occurs on pages with a gallery.

    Hello @adpagems ,

    We checked the page you had shared with us on both mobile and desktop however the issue does not seem to exist at this moment.
    We have had an update on the PG however it only included a security fix and there was no change on other features/sections.
    What you are describing could also be caused by an optimization/caching service/plugin, in case the issue still persists or it re-appeared, please check whether you have any plugin that is trying to cache/optimize the website, if so try to disable it temporary ( or enable test mode, if available ) and check whether the issue gets resolved.

    Thank you very much for your feedback.

    As previously explained, we tried deactivating the cache plugin “WP Rocket” before reaching out, but without success. The issue persists.

    If you open the provided page and try to scroll directly to the bottom right after the page loads or refresh the page upwards, it seems to freeze (on iOS and Android as well, though less noticeably). Additionally, when you manage to scroll down and stop at an image, attempting to scroll up or down again causes the page to freeze once more. This doesn’t happen every time, but we experience a freeze about 80% of the time.

    Everything had been working perfectly for several months, which is why we’re requesting assistance in resolving this issue, as it has appeared since the end of last week, and nothing has been changed on our end.
