    Hey everyone,

Would you all mind downloading and installing our most recent Beta (found here) and let us know if this issue persists or if its resolved?

If the issue persists for you, please submit your bug report here, with temp. login credentials so we can dig deeper into why this is happening for some users but not all. Also, please include in your bug report if the issue persists with all plugins deactivated except NextGEN Gallery > browser cache cleared and site refreshed. Also, try switching to WordPress Default Theme. One other thing to try is disabling all browser plugins/extensions.

    Thanks!

I am not able to show thumbnail images, I have created a gallery and an album, don’t have jetpack activated, but still no images. Can someone have a look at https://www.marlenewatsonart.com, and see if there’s another answer for me?

Try deactivating all plugins except NextGen and see if it works. If it does work start reactivating your other plugins one by one until you find which caused the problem. I just did this to resolve another similar problem and it did the job. Bit of a pain but might be worth a try.

Thanks ronwooduk, I tried this first before I wrote in, I’ve tried everything I can find on the other posts, but still stuck.

OK, Photocrati – I’m going to attempt using the Beta, clearing the browser page, etc. Here’s hoping, as I’ve invested a lot of my site’s effort into NextGen & have loved it).

Some other notes I have 2 sites – and nextGen is working fine on the other one. The theme on that is 2010 Weaver & NextGen version 1.8.3. The one that won’t display the slideshow is version 1.7.4 on the Adventure Journal.

I have a similar issue to the one listed at above and it is driving me crazy! https://www.canterburyharriers.org/gallery the album page shows all the galleries fine and they are fine in the backend of the plugin and down the bottom in the random photo widget however when you click on a gallery it fails to display.

I have tried every piece of advice there is: disabled all other plugins, reinstalled NGG, upgraded NGG [currently on new beta as per photocrati recommendation above], tried Chrome/FF/IE/Safari/Opera/etc/etc, and it is still not playing ball.

    Any ideas would be fantastic.

    Thanks in advance.

I just installed nextgen onto my site and I am trying to insert an album onto the page. It works fine if I just insert a gallery, but when I try to insert the album, the album shows up, but it will not display the photos.

The album shows the number of pictures, but will not do anything else. Above the album, it also displays the following message: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home2/pureplat/public_html/rysemag/wp- content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggfunctions.php on line 554

Deleted jetpack, therefore are there any other suggestions what the issue could be?

We would love to hear from you all whether or not the beta has been of any help in resolving this issue for you. Please download and follow the instructions as outlined in our blog post: found here.

If the issue persists, even with all plugins deactivated and your theme (temp.) switched to WP Default, please submit your test results w/ temp. login credentials to your site, through this contact form on our site. The message will go straight to our developers to look into further.

Thanks everyone! The more feedback we receive, the better it helps us to find a solution!

Hi photocrati et al went back and stripped it all down to the default theme and deactivated plugins and turned them on one by one.

Looks like the issue was with Simple Facebook Connect.

Thanks for the reminder to go back to basics!

I just wanted to note that I’m having this issue as well. I did all the recommended steps. Disabled all plugins, went back to default theme, cleared cache, and still had the same bug. The beta plugin also didn’t resolve the issue. I submitted a bug report with a temp login. Any help is appreciated.

upgrade to latest version of nxtgn gallery, then it runs

As @ole aggerholm mentioned, upgrading to latest version, 1.9.12 should resolve this issue.
