Gallery exits to main page instead of gallery page

It should go to the page from where gallery was opened (it does not never leave the page it just opens gallery on top of it).

I’m confused because it never does for me, in closing the gallery it pops back to my main page. Perhaps you can test for yourself.

I think it’s this link that forwards it to the front page when clicking anywhere on the page. It comes from theme or somewhere else, don’t know.
