Gallery empty after change to Gallery

  • When I try to change an advanced gallery to gallery all pictures get lost! This is new and very annoying. Please fix this bug.

    I simply want to change an advanced gallery back to standard wordpress gallery, but it does not work.
    If I create a new gallery, change it to advanced gallery and back to standard wordpress gallery it works.
    This issue only exists with existing advanced galleries.

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for reaching out! From my understanding the advanced gallery is not meant to be interchangeable with the wordpress gallery. Can you tell me your reasoning for this?
