gallery does not work on mobile view

  • Well, I have the problem, that the gallery does′nt work on a cell phone. On my desk everythink seems to be fine. Bot when I open the page on my cell phone I always see the same image.

    I′ve updated the whole system but it does′nt fix the problem. Does anybody have an idea?

  • Same problem here.

    On Desktop it’s all fine, on mobile the preloader comes up but no image loads and the message “Gallery could not load” appears.

    The reason for this error was the caching tool.

    I am sorry, but I couldn’t locate any gallery created with NextGen Gallery on the mentioned page.

    Could you please point us to a page URL where the issue would be replicable?

    I am sorry, but I could only locate a gallery created with a different gallery tool there.

    Please let me know if you have a page where you’d have an issue with NextGen Gallery.

    All these galleries have been created with NextgenGallery. I even have the Pro version…as you can find here: https://danijani.ch/fotoalben/on-the-way/

    I am sorry, I was looking at the previously provided URL that was basically pointing to a section from your home page.

    Try adding the custom CSS from below to your site’s “Dashboard>>Appearance>>Customize>>Additional CSS” to see if that’ll fix the issue:

    I′ve copied a new URL to this post. If you click on an image you′re entering the gallery. Just like i wrote. It′s not a problem on a desk. It′s only when you′re entering the page with your mobile.

    Do you have any idea what I did wrong?

    Hi @kowkase,

    Thanks for providing us with a link to a page that contains a NextGen Gallery Basic Imagebrowser gallery.

    I’ve tested it on IOS in both Safari and Chrome browsers, and it both navigates to the next/prev images if clicking on <> buttons that appear below the image and opens the correct image in lightbox.

    I should note here that the lightbox isn’t supposed to allow navigating to next/prev image.

    Can you provide with a video screen capture while replicating the issue?
