Gallery conflicts

I’ve tried two different gallery plugins to post video’s and photo galleries with. They have both seemed to cause glitches on my page with this theme. The last one I’ve tried was Gallery Bank but this caused the wording in the drop down header menu’s to disappear, I can’t remember the first one. Does anyone out there know a gallery plugin that works well with this theme? Thanks
