Gallery columns width and in gutenberg block

    I’m looking for a solution with custom gallery layout, grid with the responsible columns for the gutenberg block.
    Thumbnails in the grid should be responsible and width of the thumbnails should be the same for every thumbnail in column. Should I define some fixed size in the gallery options or gallery could build such layut automatically?

    In general columns of the gallery, the grid gallery plugin calculate automatically, no matter if this gallery is inserted into the Gutenberg or like a gallery widget.
    In the gallery general settings block, you can manage grid size settings and column settings. In general, you can switch between fixed size and responsive gallery thumbnails.
