Gallery Captions Not Showing Up

I am using the basic thumbnail view with a gallery caption. I put some custom CSS into the box on the style tab related to the size, spacing, and color of the thumbnail box as seen in the page I linked. But I am making a new version of the site offline, and I copied the CSS exactly and used the same settings. It worked at first and looked great, but now several weeks later I went back to work on those pages and something changed. The captions no longer show up, they are just plain basic thumbnails. Was this due to a plugin update? My online site still uses 3.3.17 while the offline site is current at 3.3.20. I made no other changes.

I’ve tried different settings and cannot get the thumbnail box & captions back! I don’t think the problem is the CSS because I changed the margin and it does reflect the change on the page but still no captions.
