Gallery Bug – Parabola

    I’ve tried a lot of ways to address and fix the issue I’m having running the current parabola theme and NextGen Gallery plugin.

    When I go to add an album on our kitchen gallery page (I place all my albums alphabetically) you can now see a breadcrumb or different album title name that was previously added a couple months back in the middle of the page. I cannot see what is going on here or why it now does this.

    Been having no issues with NextGen and with parabola until recently it seems.

    Any help greatly appreciated as I cannot add any new galleries for the company until resolved

    If you scroll down 3 albums https://epicinteriors.com/gallery/room-additions-gallery-selection/
    you will see a sentence saying “Laguna Cottage Remodel”

    This is a album that is on a separate page https://epicinteriors.com/gallery/room-additions-gallery-selection/

    It should not be showing that there.

    I’ve been using NextGen for awhile and it seems something doesnt jive between parabola and nextgen plugin now

    Try removing the breadcrumb from NGG. Maybe there is a option for that?
    Did you somewhere put the code for the breadcrumb manually?
    For a quick and dirty solution, you could make it invisible by adding
    display:none;
    to ul.ngg-breadcrumbs like so:

    ul.ngg-breadcrumbs>li {
    display: none;
}

    There is an option individually for each album but does not help already tried. And I did not enter manually.

    Plugin creator is looking into now. Also sent in a theme creator ticket

    No resolution as of yet so I’m trying to hold back on any quickies/workarounds

    Iv’e now noticed every time I add a new album, the previous newest title is displayed directly above the new which you can see again 3 from the bottom “earl kitchen” which has the previous newest above it.

    Okay so it turns out the combination of said issue was the addition of the breadcrumbs feature set to the albums are now on by default in NextGEN Legacy addition which slightly changed up settings. Issue with breadcrumbs when a NextGEN Legacy template is set rather than the default of no template.

    So long story short I have to reevaluate how albums are now placed and setup compared how I used too (never had issues before).

    I guess thats still something I’ll have to get used to over time and regular changes/updates to plugin
