I absolutely *love* the Chaplin theme. But I’ve just been told that all of my galleries are broken – the images render out one above the other with bullet points. The attached URL links to a new page which I created for a test and exhibits the problem well.

I’m using Chaplin v2.5.11 and WordPress 5.4.2 so it should all be up to date. I’ve not got any custom gallery plugins installed. As a precaution I’ve turned off plugins one-by-one to see if the problem was caused by one, but that had no effect.

Strangely, galleries work as they should when an editor is logged in. This is why we didn’t spot it until now!

    Any suggestions very welcome ??

    Hi @tomgtaran,

    Glad you like it!

The base styling for the blocks (the styling responsible for the grid layout of the gallery) is actually not part of Chaplin, but included in Core as part of block-styles. Based on the CSS output on your site, that stylesheet isn’t being loaded.

It looks like some plugin you have active combines all enqueued CSS files into a single file that’s loaded by the browser. I’d start by deactivating that (it looks like it’s called SiteGround Optimizer), emptying your cache and see if that fixes it.

    Hi,
I think I have the same issues. On the devices that have already visited my website, some pictures are randomly replaced by blue question mark. (first time visitors usually don’t have this issue).
I talked to the hosting support and I deactivated, purged cache from everywhere but still have the issue.

Hosting company is suggesting maybe a theme cach or so. Do you have any idea? Here is a screenshot of my website https://www.melti.ma from a device that already visited it before :

Thank you Anders – excluding the block-styles stylesheet the problem was fixed. And that also explains why logged-in users didn’t see the same problem.

    Much appreciated!
