The operation is the same with the plugins deactivated (except Gutenverse).
A return to version 1.8.4 brings back gallery scrolling.
Something happened between version 1.8.4 and version 1.8.5.

I reverted to 1.8.4 and you will now see normal scrolling working.

We confirmed that there is a bug on the gallery item swipe in v1.8.5.
We will investigate what causing the issue and will try to provide fix in the next update.
