Gallery Block crop not working

  • Hi all,

    I want to insert a gallery block to my posts. As I have photos in landscape and portait mode, I want to use the cropping feature to have a cleaner look. While editing the post, the gallery looks fine. In preview mode or when published, the images are NOT croped.

    Has anyone an idea, why this is not working?

    My best guess right now is your theme that could be causing this. Are you able to switch to a default theme such as Twenty Nineteen to see if this is the case?
