Gallery arranging images vertically

  • Dear Kale Support Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using the Kale theme for my WordPress blog, and I would like to request assistance with adjusting the layout of both the Recent Posts and Highlights sections on the homepage.

    At the moment, both the images and content in these sections are displayed horizontally. I would prefer them to be arranged vertically (stacked one after the other), which I believe would provide a more organized and visually appealing layout for my homepage.

    Could you kindly guide me on how to achieve this layout change or provide a solution that would allow me to arrange the Recent Posts and Highlights sections vertically?

    Thanks for reaching out, and thank you for using Kale- we really appreciate it!

    We don’t currently offer a vertical option for the highlights section, but there are layout options for the recent posts section below. It looks like you’re currently using the grid layout:

    There is a “full” layout where they’re stacked vertically, but unfortunately this one isn’t available in the free version. As a bit of a compromise, you could go with the “mixed” layout, it’s somewhat of a hybrid approach:

    Thank you for your response and for the helpful information! I appreciate the support and really enjoy using the Kale theme.

    I understand that a vertical option isn’t available for the highlights section, but I was actually referring to my menu layout. I would like the “All Recipes” menu section to display vertically rather than horizontally. You can check the current setup here: https://essenparadies.com/category/all-recipes/.

    Oh, I see what you mean, on the category pages- that makes sense!

    Unfortunately we don’t currently have any alternate layouts for the category page, but this is a great idea, and I will pass it along to the dev team to potentially include in an update.
