Gallery appears but no slideshow

    Hi – I’ve just discovered that none of the 96 galleries on my website works anymore though I’m not sure when they stopped working. The issue is that although the gallery thumbnails appear, clicking a thumbnail just leads to a webpage with that image on it – no slideshow, no fade – just one image.

    I’m running ver 2.0.66.29, WordPress 4.0, Canvas theme though I disabled this in favour of the default WordPress theme but the problem continued. I have also disabled all the plugins but that also made no difference.

    It’s a fair amount of work having to rebuild all these galleries so if there is an easy solution I’m all ears. For example:

    Thanks tizz – it was set to a ‘Lightbox’ and ‘only apply to NextGEN images’ but the real clue was in the advanced settings which referred to a URL for the Stylesheet and Javascript that I deleted some weeks ago – doh. So that explains part of it. It still doesn’t seem to be as slick as it was and I can’t put my finger on why. But anyway, thanks for the heads up and the suggestion to look where I hadn’t – now working again. Thanks! z

    @zimxo I can’t say about “slick”, but I see that the navigation icons are broken. You could try to clear image cache (Other options > Miscellaneous), I don’t know if is useful, but it doesn’t hurt.
    Also, try another lightbox effect from the list just to see how it works.

    @zimxo – You can also use the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options. This will put the Lightbox URL to a default “relative” path and should sort out any other path/URL related issues as well if they still exist.
