I love the origami slider gallery but I also want to be able to post tiled mosaic galleries in some of my posts. It seems I can’t do both. Is there something I’m not doing right. When I turn on the Origami slider in the theme settings it won’t allow me to use the wordpress mosaic tiled, square or circle galleries to display images. If I turn the Origami slider off it won’t allow me to use the Origami slider which I love for my portfolio and home page. Can someone please help?

  • One option is to leave the slider enabled in the theme settings, and then add type=”default” as a shortcode attribute for any galleries you want to display as the default mosaic style.

Ok, I don’t know much about code but when I enable the Origami gallery slider then add a gallery to a post this is the code in the text section if I leave it as is
    [gallery ids="108,107,106,105"]
If I change the type to “tiles” in the gallery settings when creating the gallery this is the code
    [gallery type="rectangular" ids="108,107,106,105"]

So, which am I supposed to do and where am I supposed to enter type=”default” like you said. I appreciate your help. I really want to be able to use both. I love the look of your sliders so much more than the nextgen galleries but that’s what I’m having to use right now so that I can also use the tiled galleries.

Also, is there a way to change the speed of the slider?

    Hi,
I would like to customize the theme origami (get rid of the page shape on the background and have only background to use as a page). Is it something I could do without creating a child theme, or child theme is the only option.
    Thank you

Hello, i’ve just download origami theme and try to play with it but i have a question about gallery.
How are you doing a masonry gallery as it shown on some demo ?
Is it only with the plugin or is it already add inside the theme ?

    Thank you
