    Hi,

I would like to create a gallery with landscape and portrait oriented images. When I’m doing this I will get gaps because the images are in different orientation. Is there a way to fill the gaps?

Can someone please help me out with this issue?

    Many thanks,
    Hazel

  • Hi, @hazy23!

I apologize for any trouble! Can you please tell me which version of Envira Gallery you’re currently using? Also, would you mind posting a link to the gallery that’s giving you trouble here? I’d be happy to take a peek!

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. It’s? Envira Gallery the Lite version.
    Version 1.8.5.1?
    The link is?https://hazellingphotography.nl/portret-zakelijk/

The problem I have here is that the images are suppose to be portrait orientated but sometimes it is shown a landscape. Im viewing it at my desktop now and its showing as landscape in firefox and when I look it up in chrome it is shown as landscape too but when refresh the link it will turn to portrait.

    Thanks,
    Hazy

    Hi @hazy23!

    Thank you for the link!

Can you please temporarily disable the lazy loading feature (within the Config tab), and let me know if that makes any difference for you?

    Thank you!

Where can I find the configuration tab?

    Hi
I manage to find the lazy loading feature and turned it off. The gallery looks great now. So I assume this should never be turned on. I turned it on so the page would load faster.
    Thanks,
    Hazel

    Hi @hazy23!

Envira Gallery Lite 1.8.5.2 was just released, and should resolve this issue for you. At your earliest convenience, can you please update the plugin and let me know your results?

    Thank you!

Thanks for the update. I just updated the new release and turned the lazy loading feature on. But the issue shows up again. All images in the gallery turned into landscape while some should be in portrait. So I turned lazy loading off again.

    Hi @hazy23!

I apologize for the continued trouble.

Do you have any loading/transition animations active within your theme? The only reason I ask is because it looks like the images may be fading in when the page loads, and I’m wondering if we’re running into a conflict there.

    Thank you!
