    Hey Ben

    Sorry to trouble you as this maybe a Jetpack thing, but I can’t use the gallery function any more in posts (I’ve not tried pages). It stopped working around Sunday, and now I can only use the tiled gallery which is often not ideal. When I try and create a gallery in blocks, it says I don’t have any images in my media library and when I try to upload them, it then shows every image I have in the media library.

    Is this a Tracks thing or a Jetpack thing do you think?

    Hey Liza,

    I just installed Jetpack to test this out. I think they’ve just made some changes that make using galleries more confusing :/

    I found that you can add more images from your media library if you click the pencil icon: screenshot

    Then in the sidebar, clicking on the Styles section reveals some of the style options that I think were grouped separately before: screenshot

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

    I’m guessing because you had to install Jetpack, it’s not a Tracks thing! Thanks for looking into it, Tiled Galleries are fine, it’s the bog standard Gallery block that’s causing the problem. I’ve made some screenshots here: https://liza-frank.com/5860-2/

    Any clues? I can keep using Tiled Galleries but it’s a bit of a pain having this glitch.

    Okay I see. I just tried the Gallery block with Tracks both with Jetpack activated and deactivated, and I wasn’t able to recreate this same issue.

    It might be a good idea to deactivate all other plugins on your site and check if the error persists. Deactivating plugins sounds frightening, but you won’t lose any settings or data doing this. Everything comes right back once you reactivate the plugins.

    I’m not 100% certain this will fix the issue, but if you do find the galleries working again, you can reactivate the plugins one-by-one to find the source of the conflict.
