https://www.plogger.org – it’s brilliant! You can integrate it into your WordPress stuff by following instructions at https://www.phoenixrealm.com/2005/09/22/integrating-plogger/? . It’s pretty straightforward, and provided you don’t need all sorts of different contributors to the gallery (ie, you’re the only one), Plogger’s absolutely great.

There’s a great plugin for integrating Gallery2 as well. Search the codex, don’t have the links here.

Plogger is great though, and I’d reckon it’s easier to set up so I recommend you give it a go.
