• I transferred a few hundred photos via FTP to my web server, then from within my WordPress blog I did a NextGen “import folder” (Gallery > Add Gallery / Images >Import Folder – at the bottom) from two separate directories into two separate NextGen galleries. Both only imported 22 files, but one directory has 44 photos and the other has about 1200 photos?

    Any ideas?

@bradlaw – There is no limiting functionality on how many images can be imported … are there any error_log entries related to this time frame?

Where can I find the error logs? I even tried a new gallery renaming the files to Name_name_Wedding_one_1a.jpg, and I still received 22.

Rather than using the “import folder” (Gallery > Add Gallery / Images >Import Folder – at the bottom) functionality I instead added the photos using the normal “add photos” to my gallery and its working. Something may be wrong with the Import functionality I suspect.

@bradlaw – That is very interesting as we have not had any reports similar to what you are describing with the Import option.

Where are you error_logs, I really couldn’t say but generally I start by looking in the root of the installation for them but some web hosts do not necessarily follow that common placement … some will even not write them at all?!

Also, have you checked for any conflict with other plugins, I don’t suspect this would be one as I actually suspect it will be something in the server environment but it’s still a good thing to rule out all the same.
