Galleries on News Posts = Not used!

I’ve created my first few galleries and added them to News Posts.

When looking in the FooGallery list every gallery Usage = Not used!

I’ve tested by adding a couple of galleries to Pages and these then show correctly as being used on those Pages.

Is this correct behaviour? Is there a way to get FooGallery to show when a gallery is used on a News Post?
