Galleries work perfectly on our desktop site but we have been notified that on mobile devices, Iphone, Android, that no galleries display at all. There is no error message just a blank space where the gallery should be.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The link you provided doesn’t seem to have any Photonic galleries. Please provide me with a link to a page that is demonstrating the problem.

Even this page has no Photonic galleries. Even when I do a “View Source” for your page, I don’t see any references to Photonic in the markup apart from the references to the CSS.

Are you sure you have Photonic galleries that you are able to see at your end? Nothing shows up for me on a desktop. How have you inserted your galleries into your page? What source are the galleries from?

    Hi

Yes, there are galleries inserted, we’ve been using the plugin for a number of years now. They’re inserted from Flickr. Try one of our older galleries:

I think you have an issue coming in due to AMP. When I simulate your page on a desktop by switching to a mobile mode, I see some unnecessary markup added by AMP, which is causing your gallery to disappear. You will need to disable AMP for these pages for them to work.

Now, I don’t know why your first page is not working, but without being able to see the gallery itself, it is impossible for me to say.

BTW, while it is not my place to say, I am not sure if you should be using AMP – back when Google was trying to force it on everyone, they were heavily criticised and mercilessly lampooned due to all issues it introduced, like severe incompatibilities with existing websites.

    Hi

That worked perfectly, the newer template is in discussion as it isn’t obvious that the top image is a flickr gallery. Thank you for your advice re AMP, I will look into removing that but for now you have helped resolve a huge issue for us.

Thank you for your speedy replies.
