Galleries are flash? so not viewable on ipad/phone/android devices

Hi, the default media gallery option on my theme/site seems to operate on flash (which is why i think I chose to use it in the first place), but I didn’t realize the galleries are not viewable at all on ipad/iphone/android touch devices. What options do I have to replace the galleries without having to reupload or completely overhaul all the galleries I have made? Thank you so much for your advice!
