• We are having trouble with the displaying of the data generated by Google Analytics Dashboard for WP.

The data generated by the plugin are much smaller than the ones generated directly by Google Analytics.

For example, we were tracking the whole traffic from a specific post on a site. At first, we observed the data generated by the plugin, then we look at the same data but directly generated by Google Analytics.

When comparing the results, we saw that the data are too dissonant. For example, the number of sessions registered by the plugin for the news (post) was less than 10% of the sessions recorded by Analytics.

The problem is occurring in all custom reports that use data provided by the plugin and also in other metrics, not just in the sessions.

The issue is that both in the custom report (making use of the plugin’s data) and in the one generated by the analytics displays the report’s information with 100% accuracy and use of all the data, what means that none of them correspond to results of data sample.

  • Hi There,

What’s the URL of the site in question?

If you have two Google Analytics trackers installed on a site, for instance, one tracker from Google Analytics and also a tracker from Google Analytics Dashboard for WP then the trackers could be interfering with each other and causing inconsistent data.

    Thanks,

    -Jay
